Thankfully, the driver will have quick access to certain functions thanks to a row of physical buttons mounted below the generously sized touchscreen. There are no interior shots in this set, but previous spy images (attached above) have revealed a completely redesigned dashboard to accommodate the vast screen real estate of the Megane E-Tech Electric. Overall, the exterior looks to have more edges compared to the Kadjar, making the Austral seem more athletic. That might be the case given the extra black camo strip applied onto this prototype. The clusters likely extend onto the tailgate as they do on the Megane electric crossover with its LED light bar divided in the middle by the diamond logo. Renault must've hidden a good chunk of the taillights since they're unlikely to be this small. At the side, the new crossover appears to have a smaller greenhouse to lend the vehicle a more dynamic profile at the expense of outward visibility. oh.The vertical slats of the upper and lower grilles suggest a more imposing front fascia, together with sleeker headlights and a lower front section making the Austral look less bulbous at the front. Maybe build on the gameplay a lot more! Fortunately, I'm sure that a sequel will be. I would have maybe preferred it if the game committed harder to the tongue-in-cheek angle, and maybe didn't take place in NYC again. If you liked Prototype you will probably like Prototype 2.

The writing is better and the gameplay is better.

Prototype 2 is basically a straight upgrade over P1, and treads mostly the same ground.

NO THERMOBARIC HELICOPTER IN FREE ROAM WTF Things do get more desperate once you reach the Red Zone, but there's no set pieces on par with the thermobaric tank mission from Prototype 1. The enemy chatter is massively cut down - vehicle operators are almost silent, and while the Red Crown lady's stoic drone makes her a good straight man to scenery-chewing Blackwatch officers she doesn't have the personality to carry on her own. The WoI scenes are a lot more bland (though some of them are pretty funny)(brah). Prototype 2 is a noticeable step down in this regard. Often I'd visit a hive and just watch a battle between the military and infected devolve into a chaotic clusterfuck, tanks and helicopters tearing around corners shooting everything while foot soldiers run around panicking. Prototype 1 had this fantastic atmosphere - the Web of Intrigue scenes are genuinely creepy and surreal, there's loads of chatter that gives even the faceless grunts and unseen radio coordinators loads of personality, and there's a constant feeling of desperation. This is really my only big gripe with this game. At least Clint has the decency to let you punch his face in, but Galloway goes off and gets herself killed :/ Sabrina and Clint are neither, they're just grating and obnoxious.

Most characters here are funny (Heller, everyone in Blackwatch) or likable (Diane Mercer, Luis Gierra). This game looks dope when you're at low health.вЂ‹ THE NOT SO GOOD Not sure why there's no color filter to make it so I can play the whole game in the black and white you get when at low health. No more having the upgrade tree filled with useless shit like 'curb stomp dead corpses.' No more having to do cheesy exploits to get enough EXP to unlock necessary moves. You get upgrades at set points during the game, and by mid-game you already have pretty much the entire power set from the first game. Related to cutting out a lot of the ability fat, the upgrade system is much more intuitive. And on that note, letting you equip two powers at a time is great and means you no longer have to break out the weapon wheel whenever you want to switch. The abilities are more balanced and are all useful, there's reason to switch between them instead of just using the blade the whole game.

Heller starts off with his full set of unarmed powers at the start and most of the excess has been removed, so you no longer have 800 ways of comboing people who die in one punch. The gameplay is much more streamlined and fluid. James Heller is the most relateable protagonist.вЂ‹
